Am I the only one who thinks vintage instantly adds character to an outfit?
An ensemble never seems “right” until it has that unexpected element- a surprising je ne sais quoi that can’t be bought. Or, rather, it could be bought, but at a cost that has nothing to do with money.
It would cost you the hours spent digging in vintage shop bins or scouring an auction site. Perhaps costly in terms of the years you would spend hunting down old magazines in used bookshops to find interesting styling ideas. Although that’s not really costly, is it? That’s just pure joy.
