I first started wearing hairpins about eight years ago after discovering one in an old pharmacy in Florence.

It was on one of my first trips to Italy. The woman behind the counter took them out of the glass case for me and showed me how to place one in my hair.

It was love at first sight, and i’ve been wearing them ever since.
