I am someone who is very affected by the mood of my hair. You will either relate to this, or you simply won’t.
At this moment, my hair is short and I love love LOVE it. It feels like, well, me!
I sometimes look back at photos of myself with long hair and think something along the lines of, “what the hell was she THINKING?”
While it might have looked okay, it didn’t look like me. To me, it looks like I was trying to fit in (never a good thing and I should have known better!!)

Within a few months of moving to Milan, I swapped my long New York locks for a short Milanese bob. It transformed all of my outfits and I was absolutely thrilled. Ironically, there were suddenly so many more things I could do with my hair!! And ohhh the hair accessory stores in Milan I could now peruse.
