When I told people I was writing a book and it would come out in the spring, a lot of them thought I was crazy. Apparently, most books sell in December, during the holidays. But the book I had in mind was never a winter book.
Spring is when I get the most excited about getting dressed again. After months of layers and heaviness, everything starts to feel lighter, easier, more fun. It’s that shift where you actually want to put an outfit together.
I always pictured this book living on a table next to a fresh bouquet—something you’d reach for right when you’re in the mood to feel inspired again.
So, in that spirit, I pulled together 10 of my favorite spring looks. The ones I keep saving (and re-saving) in my camera roll. The ones that get me excited about dressing again.
I hope you find something here that does the same for you. I’ve also linked a few pieces to help you recreate the looks in your own way.
Anything Navy + Pink.
As Diana Vreeland said, “pink is the navy blue of India,” which would suggest that wearing both at once is simply being thorough. The easiest way to do this is to combine a fine-knit navy sweater with a pink skirt. I go for merino uptop, and something with a bit of flair below.
